Our hotwire cutting machine plot 250 is capable of cutting any 3D drawings out of polystyrene foams. The cutting is performed by a hot cutting wire that moves in vertical & horizontal axis with the use of motors which results in attractive 3D output shapes. The lengthy electrically charged hot wire is the special type of resistance wire that gets hot when current flows through it by a low electrical charge. Then, the hot wire melts or vaporizes material while passing through the foam so it can get any shape needed easily and precisely. It allows multiple cuts in a single pass without any change in speed, doesn’t create any dust, doesn’t use abrasive and provides a clean surface well-finished product. It is commonly used in the development of 3D logos, display letters, signboards, text graphics and architectural decoration components etc.
